well i really dont know much about the brakes...thought that the drilled/slotted rotors and new pads (o i forgot also thinking of new brake lines) would help braking??

When I do brakes, i'm going with brembo blanks and hawk pads. If you insist on slotted or drilled rotors, skip the drilled and get slotted, preferably powerslot. I wouldn't cheap out on the one thing between me and large, stationary objects, but i wouldn't go nuts on them either if you're not racing or running huge, heavy wheels.

also, be patient, and give people time to answer. a lot of people aren't on here much if at all since the site changed.

DONT BUY EBAY ROTORS EVER!!!!!....I just had the worse experience with them. After 3 months of driving, the rotors, which are very similar to yours, have been completely WORN DOWN and in the process have destroyed my pads. My dealer today said my car is "dangerous, and should not be driven with brakes like that".....DONT SKIMP OUT!!!!.....do what i just did, go to tirerack, buy hawk perfomance pads, buy either oem style brembo rotors, or buy the powerstop ones.....i regret ever buying the ebay rotors......spare yourself the money and the aggrivation.

you can go two ways.

1. stick to OEM rotors get better pads (like hawks, pbr, axxis)
1.2 (or). get brembo blank rotors and get better pads (like hawks, etc...)
(also, get stainless steal brakelines, they help alot)
2. if u want slotted or drilled, u MUST get some kind of BBK (big brake kit)

because... if you get slotted/drilled rotors on the same sized oem rotors, then you will DRAMITICALLY decrease the braking power of ur car because you lose WAYY too much braking surface area....dont do it.

plus, u do not track ur car everyday, so you dont need it (despite what alot of companies say about ur brakes being cooler)

btw, most ebay rotors are really bad quality....

example
they buy brembo blanks and drill and slot it themselves...which can alternitivly cause ur rotors to crack.

(brembo drills and slotts their rotors while they are still effing hot, so they dont get brittle)

jsut to giv you some FYI data...

long ago, they drilled rotors because when the rotors came in contact with the pads at high temps. they would create a gaseous substance that would basially act like a small coat between the rotor and the pad, SO THEREFORE rotor companies started to drill the rotors and giv the gas a place to go...

NOW a DAYS....pads are alot better and have alot more technology in them...they dont create that gas anymore...so NOW A DAYS....there are no real reason to get drilled (besies if u drill a FEW holes, it will get rid of heat a little better i.e. they come OEM on a few sports benzs...but they have huge rotors with a bizzillion pistons)

==========================================

and slotted rotors are nice...they act like a razor blade and clean ur pad with every swipe for fresh contact.

the only down side is that they eat up ur pads 35% quicker =]

Someone told you wrong.
Slotted/drilled/both/etc, rotors are just bad news in general. They eat brake pads, they don't do anything and they crack. You definitely don't want to be on the track with anything but blanks (not to mention they're 5x the price for nothing).

Blank face rotors, I was a big fan of the ones from autozone, since all any of them really are is a block of iron, and a decient set of pads.
