Rep Power: 0 Everyone with 16" rims come visit
I just wanted to see a thread with all the 7thgens on here with 16" rims. I know they say that 17" is the best fit for our cars but I dont want to loose the ride. I am looking to do some 16" prob rota on my car with an Eibach Pro Kit drop (dont want to go too low) but I dont know if 16" will look good with that kind of drop.
So everyone who has 16" rims please post pics here and state tire size and the amount your dropped.
Thanks in advance

Lowered about 2 inches I think
Tokico D-Spec spring kit for sedan, the back of the car is lower than the front. I'm not pleased with that.
I think the 7th generation Civic is very oddly proportioned. Without excessive lowering, the car looks kind of odd with wheels larger than 16".

Rep Power: 227 Sucks, hate when rear sags more...should change your suspension up haha.
Search around for 16's on the site. There's a thread on rims. Should have some 16's in there.

Rep Power: 0 Here is what 205/40/17's looked like on my car (before and after) with an Eibach Pro Kit. I had Nankang Tires on it then, these were awful, ride quality was terrible and I had to baby it all the time until I finally hit a pot hole and there was no give in the tires.
It depends on what you want to do but I now have 16's with 205/55's (Michelin HydroEdge) and personally would never switch back. The ride quality is excellent (much better quality tires help) and the combination fills out the wheel wells better than when I had 17's.
I have some pics of the 16's on the car but am having trouble getting these to upload as they are 22 MB pictures and by the time I resize to fit it becomes too small, if someone can suggest how to resize (or reduce quality) in such a manner that I will be posting a worthwhile pic let me know and I would be happy to share as this would provide you with a direct comparison on the same car with the kit you are looking into.

caquinde's
K20me's
Some might be old, didn't pay attention. But just found some 16's searching, that's what they'd look like. Didn't pay attention to what they were dropped on and tire sizes, just getting pics to help ya out a little and to show what the search button can do.

Rep Power: 0 Okay, I think I have this figure out now, below are a few pics for comparison
with Momo's - 205/55/16's (Michelin Hydro Edge), Pro-Kit and Honda sides
with Advanti Racing Rims - 205/40/17's (Nankang), Pro-Kit and Honda sides
My old sedan with 205/40/17's (Nankang) and a Pro-Kit
Why I prefer 16's now......................

Rep Power: 0 What size tires and what kind of suspension is caquinde's Civic on?
I like the "non sagging" rear end style going on there.
Looks really low though.
Nice colour too !

Rep Power: 301 silver01....your cars' tires are going the opposite direction! on the MOMOs. and wow....why'd you buy Nankang..waste of money! get something better for a few more bucks, if money is a hard thing. i know Falken Ziex-512 arent too expensive in any size.

Rep Power: 0 Burke 420, I hear you on the tires (wrong way), the dealership actually put them on this way, didn't realize at the time (as you assume a dealership wouldn't make that mistake). They were corrected shortly after that pic (I have my steelies with 15" snows on now).
As far as the Nankang's they came as a package as I got the Advanti Rims used, yes these tires are the worst ever (I wouldn't pay $5 each for them). The Michelin's perform really well and give a great ride (when you spend a bit more it pays), not ultra high performance tires but since I drive over 70,000 kms/year they work nicely for my needs (except for 5 months of the year when I am sporting winter treads).
