16"s or 17"s ??!?
On any other generation, I would say 17 is too big, but I think our 7th generations honestly look really good with 17s. I have 17s and the ride isn't too bad but I really don't care about the ride. I like feeling all of the bumps.
I don't think these 18s look bad on this 6th gen
This was the only pic they had of the wheels...

If done properly I think big, not huge, wheels look good. 18, maybe 19s are as large as a civic should go for ours. My 17s are a lil outta place without a drop but I still think they look good, and a lot better then the stock 14" steelies.

Yeah I've got x8's to HondaLuver. I absolutley love them. I bought the tailights from another member a LONG time ago, because I was desperatley looking for them. Thanks for the compliments (Even if I'm faking the jdm
)
if you want want your car to get slower go with 17s, its a noticeable difference even on a modded car like mine. I wish i woulda kept my 16s but they made my car too low, so i sacraficed speed for finctionallity
I see negative aspects by going too far down/ too far up (16, 19-20) 16's almost look as weird as 20"s .. big body-- small rims -- and 20"s just look like the retard bus.
I'm leaning twd 18"s, they really compliment the cars look. And I'm learning to face that fact that Honda's aren't fast unless you have 15k+ to drop on mods.....and then in that case i'd be questioning myself as to why i didnt get th EVO VIII MR with a nicer body kit (stock looks geh) or a 02' M3 after spending time and monies on a $18k car. the only way I would try to make a civic fast is if i won the f'in lottery.... then i'd buy like 5 of them and race everybody.

the 17s i have are fine, not a bad mix of all the elements that have been talked about here. Also 18's you may run into more headaches depending on the tire height and width for rubbing issues. 17s will be a good no hastle bolt on look. Thats the best you could ever hope for.
