RSX Caliper Swap questions

Hey guys, I already searched, and checked the Stickies but found nothing.

I believe a few people around here have done it ( boilermaker)

What is needed for the swap?

Can u keep stock Rotors/lines?

Does it matter if the calipers are off RSX-S or base RSX?

I understand u need to "shave" or file something down? What part is this? any1 have a DIY?

Im asking because theres a set of RSX-S calipers, and hawk HP pads for sale for $100 Canadian, and i just want to know what else ill need, or if this actually works.

Its not an RSX swap, its a DC2R/Prelude swap. RSX-S rotors are even bigger (11.8), no one's tried it and I dont know if the brackets are the same. there's no gain to using base brakes, they're no bigger. You're on your own trying to 4-lug the RSX-S setup,

BATANG KANTO has a little shameless behaviour in the past
rsx, rsx-s and the current -6 si share the same caliper.... the thing is... the rsx-s has bigger daim. rotors than the base but the 06 si's rotor is bigger than the rsx-s. and you have to bleed the whole brake system if your changing your rotors...its pretty easy install..

Did anyone see the Ride's when they made the Enzo with the spline drive 1 bolt into a x5 lug for SEMA?.......just really seemed like a waste to convert the ferrari rather than the rim.......

maybe, but adapters are cheaper than rims. that would be my guess...or did they drill and stud the rotor hats?
