Best wheel size for normal everyday ?

Considering buying Gram Light T57-RC 17-inch but worried about a 215/45 tire for really beatup streets in PR. Should I stick with 16 ....because if 15 is my best choice I'll stay with factory steelies

I'm using 215/45R17 without problems. My streets aren't too bad though.

i have fatty tires on 15s and the roads are so bad here the ride still sucks. i've been in cars with 16s and nearly got sick from being jolted around from the potholes.

If your scared of getting 215/45/17 don't bother getting aftermarket tires and rims. I used to have 215/45/17 last year, before I lowered my car, and the ride was great with my stock suspension and stock springs. Every city has beatup streets.

I say you just pick up 17's, and try them out. You'll never know unless you try them out. If you don't like the ride, sell your tires and rims. I know you lose money that way, but hey, don't we all waste money on our cars. Everything you invest in your car, you won't get back.

15-inch is too much tire !!! If the difference from 16 to 17 is not much?? I'll probably try 17. In 16-inch the only wheel I've seen that caught my eye was WedsSport SA-90 but hated the blue letters. Something lightweight but strong !!!

I went with 16's for a daily ride, better acceleration and lighter than 17's and the assurance that you know you have enough tire to protect the rim if there is any surprises.

if you dont want 15s, and you're getting 16s, might as well go 17s it wont matter as much. the ride will suck either way.
