18's- 35 or 40?

stick with the 40 series...I have had plenty of sets of 18s and the ride quality is a big difference between 35 and 40. I had 225/40 series each set just to make sure my rims were protected and that I wasn't going to go crazy with the bumps in the road. Raise your car a bit even if you have to because you may end up regretting the 35 series in the long run. Since you are also in the So Cali area...you know roads can be real bad anywhere you go. Hope this helps any.
