Advice on rims and tires

Ok im looking at getting Riax Seca 18
http://www.riaxonline.com/styles/det...le=RX108&desc=
Pic is attached
Was wondering are these rims any good?
Anybody with some good experiences or bad experiences.
I have a LX so im not really looking for super light rims just something that looks good.

As well The tires that the salesman suggested were Nexen N3000 215/35/18,
My car is dropped on neuspeed race 2.25f and 2.0r.
Should i go with 215/40/18 or will they rub i want to maintain ride quality as well as not have to worry about damaging my rims or blowing my tires.

Any comments suggestions are welcome

yea...18's could get u some troubles if you have neuspeedrace springs, get some nice set of 17's with 215/40 or 205/45. I'm sure those would nicely fit with ur drop. if not, go with 215/35/18

my concern is if i go with 17's these rims are gonna look small because of the lip and the way the spokes curve as well the fact that they are black wat do u mean by trouble.

You guys don't know what you're talking about.
I'm riding on Neuspeed Race with 18" wheels. 215/35/18 and I don't rub at all. If you want to a bigger tire... get some 225/35/18's

I do know what I'm talking about R1, I mean I've never had neuspeedrace springs before but on my H&R(1.3'') I rubbed in the rear with 215/40/18 so I had to roll the rear fenders in. and I still rub once in a while when I have more than 2 passengers or when taking a hard turns.
well, it's all up to you bro, haven't u thought about getting some 16'' rotas or circuit8's?? those would look badass !

well thanks everyone for help the 215/40/18 are like only made by pirelli or super expensive brands im on a budget this summer goin away on a trip soo im just gonna get 215/35/18 plus i was talking to a friend and he was telling me on of his buddies had 35 series and ur only real danger of bending ur rims when ur going like 120 on the highway so that makes me happier since after having my car lowered ive memorized the 401 and its potholes.

we will see how it goes ... as for ride quality its 2.25 drop i dont think ill get any anyways.

its all good
