Recently someone told me that SSR Competition anthracite w/Mach lip 11.0lbs. where EGGS and that SSr where going out of market. I'm in love with these rims but considering the info I want other options in lightweight 16-in. I've looked Enkei, Momo, OZ, Rays and want something pretty like thoses SSR Competition Style in black, gunmetal or anthracite. Any info will be helpful !!
Stupid SSR....

There's tons of SSR knockoffs.
Black Racing Pro N1s
Speedmaster SM046
Konig makes/Made a knockoff
Enkei made/makes a single spoke 6 spoke wheel
Tire rack shows a bajillion of them, you can't possibly be having trouble finding a 6 spoke wheel. Theres thousands of them.
If you looked at Rays wheels... *cough*TE37*cough*

Soooo SSR (Speed Star Co. Ltd and Speed Star Sales Co. ltd) went backrupt January 27th after 30 years. But Tanabe Co. ,Ltd will continue to produce SSR products as well as Tanabe. Nice knowing !!
Considering that on my way too and back from work I encounter many holes because of construction. I guess that 16-in wheel about 10 to 15Lbs. with 205/50-16 tires will withstand a good impact without harming rim or is lightweight not such a good idea for my road conditions?
