Will 18 x 7.5 wheels fit? Anyone running them?

I am looking at a set of wheels that are 18 x 7.5 with a +42mm offset. Anyone running these? Will they work with a 215/40-18 tires? Here are the specs I got from the wheel width calculator and I see that they will push the wheel out about .86 inches, just not sure if I will run into trouble with that kind of gain?

Info about the Existing Rim
Offset (in mm) 45
Width (in Inches) 6
Width Outside Mounting Surface 31.2
Width Inside Mounting Surface 121.2

Info about the New Rim
Offset (in mm) 42
Width (in Inches) 7.5
Width Outside Mounting Surface 53.25
Width Inside Mounting Surface 137.25

Inches Millimeters
Difference in Width 1 25.4
Offset Difference -0.118110236 -3

The outer edge of your new wheel will be 22.05 mm further out than the existing wheel 0.868110236 Inches
The inside edge of your new wheel will be 16.05 mm further in than the existing wheel 0.631889764 Inches

nah im running 215, which is the minium for an 8 inch wheel. (The wheel kinda pokes out and doesnt have that seated all the way look, but im sure its fine becuase i went to a drifting event and the drift cars tires were the same way).

215 for 7.5 inch wheel width is probably perfect. you can go thinner but like subaru once said, "wider is better"
