Pirelli Pzero nero M&S or Kumho Asx
Ive been trying to decide which tires to go with and ive got it down to these two tires. I friend has the Pzero Nero M&S(all season tires) and my other friend recommended the Kumho Asx. I wouldnt mind goin with Pzero nero tires b.c with all the reviews im seeing and seeing that my friend loves em but the only problem is pricing is a bit high. I dont know much on Kumho Asx at all except that the ratings on tirerack is decent. just to let you guys know these tires will not b driven in the snow. this is wat i would like from you guys:
Recommend Choice
Reason
Firmness(such as taking turns. trying to find tires that dont flex that much)
Any other info you can give

I have the ASXs... I personally don't care for them. They're fine in dry weather and they run quietly, but they're a little squirly in the rain (especially if its hard rain) and just about useless in the snow. I say give the Pirellis a try. If you're looking for an All Season Performance tire and don't care about how much they are, Bridgestone RE950s are where its at.

just looked at the reviews for the 950 and it doesnt seem all that bad

i would get those Pzero nero my firend has them on his 2000 celica. from the reviews they are good tires in the dry rain and snow. and they are good stablity too, since the price on them is high its worth it i plan on getting some. or you can get some BFgoodrich T/A KDW2s my firend has these on his civic these also gets good stablity control and some good times at the track

I also would go with the P-zero. (BTW- M&S stands for Mud and Snow) I sell the P0's to my customers for a replacement to the Bridgestone stock tire on an STI. They came highly recomended from about 4/5 customers, and now I stock them. (I work at a Scoobie dealer).

i'm running the asx just cuz they were cheap and had a great treadware compared to the es100's and spec-2's i ran before them. don't hold as well as the latter two, but it gets the job done.
I have them on my car...I think they are great....if it matters to you, they are **** in the snow...on wet and dry they grip extremely good...and they are very very very quiet and comfortable....treadwear is also great...
I say go with them

The PZero Nero M+S is an excellent tire. I'm running a set right now with 20K miles on them (215-45ZR-17). Very good grip - dry/wet. Never had experience with snow though. It's also very quiet. As good as they are, there is an annoying fault - at least in the first 10K miles. The tires like to following grooves on the road - making the car a bit squirmish/nervous.

i agree. the asx has to much sidewall flex and doesn't handle rain well. try the Pirellis out.
I have a set of the pirelli p-zero's and love them. i'm running a 215-45-17. They do feel just a little squirmish under really hard corners, but they do great in the rain. they are horrible in the snow however. (dont even try it)

pirelli are good, but $$$
i would go with the bridgestone RE950 or BFGoodrich traction t/a. i heard both of those are very good tires and not very expencive either...relatively speaking.
