tire size question.

Sorry for this newbie question but. Will 225 35 18's rub anywhere if i just use springs to lower it 1.75-2.0 inches? '05 civic coupe.
if no problems does anyone have a spring recomendation??

wow do a search man for real. Depending on what offset you get will determine your rubbing issues. Do a search on this crap man. There's a sticky to.

i think 225 35 18 would rub if your dropped 2" on springs only. mostly if your using lowering springs with stock shocks. the shocks will eventually give out and wear as that sits your car lower. and you dont want that. maybe 1.75" would be fine, prob just have problems with quick u-turns?

i have 215/45/17 and i was dropped probably 1.75"-2" on coilovers and i would have problems making hard turns and u-turns, no problem with rubbing though. i can only imagine 225/35/18
