on that note...does anyone know how well Brembo 'blanks' work? I've seen them go for as cheap as $30 and I'm very interested in purchasing some if they show at least a little gain in performance...

To clear a few things up....
Drilled rotors should pretty much be avoided in high performance applications.
Slotted rotors may be usefull as they help reduce the chance of glazing pads under Heavy repeated use (Track time)...
other wise, there will be little to no noticeable improvement in braking performance with either over a "blank" assuming you only change the rotors. You want shorter stops, get better tires.

Dezod if you are planning on selling the blanks then drop me a pm cause I'd buy them...
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with them (as far as how long they've lasted, etc.)? I'm not expecting better braking power, I just want a new rotor cause mine's a little rusty.

Like I said, you should see no difference in stopping power between Drilled slotted or blank rotors. As far as if they would rust... not sure, never used them. just so you know, rotors rust, its just something they do, and there are relitivly few on the market that are coated to inhibit rust. It may just be something your going to have to deal with.
