Will it work or is the tire too wide?

My planned drop is eibach sportline, if that affects anything.

I'm not sure, but 225/60/15 sounds like a hell of a rubber..lol
you might have rubbing problem (I have 205/40/17 dropped on H&R's and I rub when I turn my wheel all the way) + and Imagine 4+people in your car..

stock ex 2k2 rims = steelies?
225 is too wide. steelies are only 6.5" wide? same goes with the OEM si 7 spoke alloys too. 205 is probably the widest. but some tires overrate there width so theres a reason why some 205 tires can look like 210/215 ish.

im not even sure if 215 would fit?

if you want a fat tire on 15's, id recommend going with 205/60/15. check out the tire calculator on this site thats under 'quick links'

I think 205 is the max...I haven't even seen anyone with 215

Cool its the si looking wheels.

There was someone in my area selling them for a reasonable price thats why I asked.

Thats a fuggin Buick tire. Whether or not its too big... uh yeah. And it'll make a 15 look like a donut.

agreed, go with 205/50's they should be fine.
