larger tire = tight steering wheel ???

Hi !

I just install new tire w/ new rims... 195X60R15 ZE-512.
Now when I turn the steering wheel, it seem that it's way
more difficult to turn it, like no power steering (not that bad
actulay) but is it normal to feel a difference ?

When I installed the new wheels, I did turn the steering wheel
when the car was not running, maybe I have broke something ?

Please help me understand...

Thanks,
Philippe.

ok...

Ok, thanks for the input...
I just put back both front stock wheels and
now the steering wheel is normal. So, like you
told me, it's just the tires that are way more sticky.

Thanks,
Philippe

And your new tires are wider so there's more contact area. My 205/60/15 have much better road grip.
