Need to repaint calipers....ideas?

Hey all,

Well now that spring seems to be getting close I will be repainting my calipers due to the many chips that the caliper paint didnt protect from. Currently I have my calipers and drums painted black. I have a rallye red '04 with black wheels (polished lip) and Im not sure whether I should keep em black, go with red (everyone goes with red it seems), or go with silver....

Im picking my brain and thought I'd involve anyone who has an opinion..

I need to update my gallery....BAD. Those are some old pics. To answer your questions: In the picture you saw I was dropped on Hayame Coilovers (~2.25" drop). Nicely dropped but terrible coilovers they are. Good riddance to those! I bought the front emblem off of ebay. It's the Honda JDM (Factory) emblem. ($40)

Enclosed a pic of the look I have now...only problem I see is that I think by painting the front calipers red I will draw way more attention to the brakes and whats behind the wheel rather than the wheel itself. Maybe that doesnt make sense... Right now I think it has kind of a sleek look to it...but red would match the car nicely too....hmmm?

To do my black calipers I used, 'Duplicolor High Heat Gloss Black.' However, It really didnt stand up to the elements all that well. Previously I used to use (see pic attached) on my old civic. Now THAT STUFF worked like armor, I NEVER got chips, discoloration, fading, etc.

I may choose VHT this time...which brings up another question: What is a good brand, based on all of you who have painted your calipers?

Just started researching what brand to use for painting the calipers, did you ever hear back from anybody on what brand paint to use?

I'd go with black if you haven't painted the calipers already...

Tire Rack carries a kit that looks pretty decent for the calipers.

Red car/white rims! I did the calipers and drums with the red paint that is supposedto look like anodized aluminum! They came out a VERY dark red and I think they look great. Car is full of salt and sh#t right now or I would post pics.
