18 inch Rims

Yea i was thinking of buying these 18 inch rims for my civic sedan... and they are 4x100

the only thing i am concerned about is that would they screw up anything on my car such as factory suspension due to it being a different offset than factory wheels

i kno 17's are recommended but are 18's okay?

if anyone can help thatll be great!

yeah 18's wont damage your factory suspension! They look really nice too but keep in mind that unless you get Volks or Drags your gonna notice a difference in acceleration and not a good one either!

its going to accelerate slower brake longer and slide easier but if the offset is correct it should work. Might cause exagerated brake wear

most of the time 18's will hurt performance,
the advantage for 18's though... they allow big brake kits (if the offset is right)

its not the weight that is a problem its haw far that weight is carried from the center. I did the math once and for each inch of size you gain you have to lose about 2 lbs to have the same performance. thats a real rough estimate but you get the point, the weight might be the same but the leverage it gains makes it worse

18's do hurt performance...especially if your overall wheel size/diameter increases. I still like them though.
