bolt offset?

bolt offset?
i wanna put my 01 civic's oem 14" steel wheels on an 02 protege to use as winter tires so i can spare the alloys. will they fit? i think its a 4x100 offset. dont all jap cars have similar 4-lug sizings?

Its not a bolt offset. Its a bolt pattern. Offset is something totally different. There's 2 common sizes for 4 lug, 4x100 and 4x114.3. They're both used about equally. There's a couple oddballs as well, 4x108 is one that comes to mind (Ford Focus).
