215/40/18 stock springs+struts
you should stay in the 42-45 offset area to keep it safe. im not saying thats the only choice, but safest choice if you want to prevent rubbing issues and such. 215/40/18 wont rub that i know of with no drop. i think you would have to get an alignment done? someone correct me.

I dont think an alignment would be needed if you dont change the suspension at all. I havent needed an alignment after changing wheels, and Ive gone thru a fair amount of wheels on cars.
Stock heighth - No rubbing unless your sporting like 22's
Up to 1.75" drop - Might be able to get away with 225/35/18 depending on camber/toe and offset
More than 1.75" drop - Go with the 215/35/18
