I know the T1R's are better than the proxes 4's. I just wanted to know if the proxes 4's are good tires. I want to put one of these tires on my 17's in the spring time. I won't be running the tires all year round, only spring and summer time. Are the proxes 4's ok as a performance tire. I don't drive too aggressive, but I still want something that grips pretty well.

Please don't recommend other tires, cause I love toyo's and I will only stick with toyo. I have a brand loyalty thing with them I guess .

the proxes 4 are great tires for all around use, i had them on my car when it snowed.. and i was very suprised when they gripped really nicely

in fact, they grip better in the snow than my dayton daytona hr's...

haha.... grip better than your other tires, lol. I'll only use the proxes 4's in the summer. I already have toyo g-02 winter tires.

how's the tread wear on the tires?? do they last a while???

go for the t1s. i'm a huge bridgestone fan but toyo is awesome. i wrote an article comparing tires for a magazine a while ago and i gave the prize to the toyo t1s. i think you mean these tires not t1-r

Nope, I don't mean the t1-s. The t1s is going to be replaced this year by the T1R.
