215/45/17 or 215/40/17???

I want to know which tire size I should go with.

I'm looking to drop my car, and still have a little gap (like a one or two finger gap). Will 45's rub at all?? I will also have a camber kit, so I will not be riding with negative camber.

Anybody have 45's with corrected camber and lowered with about a one finger gap??? If so, will it rub?? oh yeah, I have +40 offset rims, if that makes a difference.

TIA, Phu.

SaRno03Vic is an unknown quantity at this point
I have 215/45/17 on my 03 the ride is great....but i wish i went with the 215/40/17 or even the 205/40/17 because i just ordered neuspeed race springs with a 2 1/4f and 2r and the 45's wont find so i would go on the safe side and run the 40's just incase....u dont wanna buy the 45's and rub and waste money on new tires sooner than you have to.

I guess I would want 45's cause I don't drive fast or aggresive. Fastest I've driving my car was maybe 130-140kph (I'm in Canada so kms), lol. I usually go around 120kph. I just don't want it to rub, but I also don't want that much of a gap between the tires and the fender.

Thank you all for your input.
