Rep Power: 0 tires for new 16 inch wheels
i'm ordering some 5zigen fighters and am going to need some good tires to go on them. However, i'm having trouble deciding on what size i need. The rims are 16x7 and my car will soon be lowered about 2 inches. I don't want the tires to look too small and want the max protection for my rims but also don't want to have to worry about rubbing. Any good tire models would also be awesome. Thanks

Rep Power: 0 205/50 16. If money isn't an issue, go for the Bridgestone Poteza S-03. I had the S-02 on my Prelude & it was probably the best street performance tires I've ever tried & the S-03 have a better wet traction than the S-02.
If money is an issue then I would recommend the Fuzion ZRi. In my opinion, that's the best bang for the buck. It's an excellent performance tires for its price.
Oh & those are summer tires. It doesn't have any snow traction what so ever.

Rep Power: 314 ^^^ it would.... there isnt a tire size for 16 inch rims that will be exactly the same as stock, 205/55 and 205/50 work...... just that 205/50 is closer and smaller.... which has slightly better benefits = )

Rep Power: 326 I would go with a 205/45/16 Yokohama AVS ES 100 tire. You wont be off on milage reading that much (I think 50 miles for every 1000, or 500 every 10000) plus it will look really nice. Of course, I dont think a 5% difference is bad.

Rep Power: 0 When I run the 16's on my car, I run 205/50-16 Yokohama AVS ES-100 tires and they are just right for our Civics.
Not too tall to rub if the car is lowered...
Not too short to skew the speedometer error really bad...
The Yokos are a good mid-priced summer (not all-season!) tire. If you get a lot of snow, either get an all season tire or keep the factory junk wheels/tires on from December thru March
