Brakes Squeal?
Hey everyone, my front disc brakes have been starting to squeak when im stopping, not a constant squeak though. I have plenty of pad, in fact they are the quiet stop brake pads. I changed them myself about 3 months ago and they have been fine until the past month. When I replaced the pads though, I didn't get my rotors resurfaced or anthing though. What can I do to make them be quiet whem I stop?

No I did not add anti-squeal to the back of the pads, must be something that you buy seperately because none came with these pads. They are aftermarket pads, or atleast I bought them at pepboys and they are advertised as quiet brake pads.
well first off the quiet stop brakes suck on rotors hehe i know this due to i work at pepboys in the service department, and see rotors get eaten up buy them, but you should have cut the rotors because they get glazed when you don't and you will get a sqeak down the road. but when those pads wear down get the pro stop ceramics if you gewt them again or the hawks there great..
don't hold it against me i work at pepboys lol
apc sucks and will never have anything but maybe the headlight bulbs in my car lol

I was wondering, I remember that when my step father showed me how to change my brake pads, to remove some of the glazed over area, we used fine sand paper and lightly went in a swirl pattern on all parts of the disc. Does that sound like a logical way to fix the problem?
