paint people

i know this is a weird *** question

is their such thing as a rubber based paint. that i could mask off and paint my wheels (i wanna see what a black would look like) and then after seeing i could peel it off and it wouldnt harm the surface..

i know it seems weird but i wanna powdercoat.. but im not gonna and then after find out it looks bad.. i wanna test it. i know a rubber based product would shine and should peel off and doesnt have any acids or w/e that would ruin finish.

there is this stuff http://eautoworks.com/html/ord-Auto~...int-1-4854.htm but i don't know if it will work in the situation that you're going to use it in, and i can't find the black one, i'm pretty sure they make it though. if that doesn't work i would just do a Photo.chop to see what it looks like. and if i were really desperate i would buy some cheap vinyl and put it over my rims and use a razor to cut out the spaces....

Any paint store should have Rubberized Undercoating for like $3.99 for a BIG can. Just spray your rims down with mold release first and it should peel right off after you're done.

or use a layer or anything like butter, vaseline, etc just keep in mind the mold release works alot better allowing more to stick easier!
