215's or 205's for turbo ???

Just a quick question, which ones of the two would be a better choice for a sedan turbo (daily drive and weekend street/drag racing)

1) 205/50 R16
2) 215/45 R16

Thankx !!!

HondaLuver will become famous soon enough
wider is better, but you should also consider what rubber to use

wider = better ... no matter what

I used goodyear eagle f1 tires with my 16's and the ONLY time I EVER spun was in the rain

215/45 for sure. but its more pricey if that matters compared to your other option. i know your gonna need at least an 7" width to fit the 215/45's i believe

Size isnt all you should be looking at, as some tires are signifigantly wider and/or narrower then they are listed. (Example, the Falken Azenis in 205/50-15 acutally measures out to 218-225 depending on how wide of a wheel you mount them on)

But any way, Compound can overcome width... So choose tires wisely.

These are the wheels I got: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos
(I posted this up sometime back as well). The size is 16x7, therefore I think 215's should fit fine on them.
