How long do the all season 205/45/17 generally last if you don't race or hit a big object in road?

205/45/17's?

Basically how long you can squeak out a set of these tires if you drive like a granny.

Probably near 20k if you have good camber. That's how much I get. Also depends on the tire your getting because softer tires will wear down much faster, but better grip.

so your pretty much worrying about threadwear over handling/performance. www.vulcantire.com has falkens for cheap. when looking at an tire, read the threadwear rating... higher the better.
www.tirerack.com www.1010tires.com <---- they have basics about tires. what you should know etc etc.

if your lowered, a camber kit (front is unnesscessary..well for me) can save your tire life. im pretty sure you know what negative camber is.. if not, just say so.

No, its gotta be more than 20K. I have Kumho Ecsta Supra 205/40/17 on my car right now. So far I've hit 24K and only the insides were wearing out b/c I set my camber -.5 in the rear, so I flipped the tires inside out, so I should get abou another 24K on them. I'm pretty much a granny driver, but I take corners fast thats all.

I just put on Kumho Ecsta Supras (205/45/17) I believe because a friend of mine who works at a tire store said they had very long life and handled very well, especially on wet streets.
