slam on 205/45/17?

anyone here slammed on 205/45/17's ?

buddy of mine wants to slam his 7gc on 205/45/17's , will he will rub or have any issues? he has rear camber so he can adjust that.


anyone have pics either?

He/she should be fine.. there are people with much larger rims/tire sizes with really low drops and dont have any rubbing issues.. Check the drop pic post in the suspension forum for pics!

i was browsing those, looks like more red x's than pics.. damn image hosters.

but i forgot to mention there 17x7.5"

you should be able to go down to like 2.75" before you start rubbing which is pretty damn low. i'm on 215-40-18s with a 2.5" drop and dont rub. its mainly the front you have to worry about.. the rear you can slam it as low as you can go and chances are it wont rub.
