I have a 2004 Coupe VP.
How can I get some Type R wheels to fit in my car?
Type R wheels are 5 lug, while Coupes have 4 lugs.
I really really want the Type R wheels... they're simply them most beautiful wheels I've seen for my car.

trade you civic in for an rsx and then buy some.
Or you can waist your money and do a 5 lug conversion like they said above, but I wouldnt do that just to get rims. There are plenty of good rims out there that are 4 lug.

You want the DC5 ITR wheels? Well you will have to get the DC5 ITR Suspension. Then you will have to get a wide body kit. Cause the wheels are going to stick out. 60 off set.
So you are better off to buy a set of wheels that look like the DC5 ITR wheels.

Maybe he's talking about the CTR wheels instead of the ITR. In any case, you can find Type R hubcaps but that'll just get your wheels stolen for having a lil' red H emblem.
If you're talking about the CTR wheels then you're in luck. Honda makes them in 16s (instead of 17s) for their Factory Performance Civic. They only come in opal (or some dark gray) though, instead of white and dark gray. They look sick. 7-spoke wheels own.

But oh so nice.
^^ those white type r wheels are 4x114.3 offset ... won't fit on our cars
dc5r wheels will not stick out with itr suspension ... check out juncivic's car ... but you would need custom axles

just get type r stickers and put em on your hubcaps.....all done. hah if you take out a lug and then slot the rim u'd be all set. It would just feel like you were riding on square wheels but at least they'd be on for cheap lol. not worth the effort unless you really really like them.

Now... WHERE THE HELL CAN I FIND THEM???
I've been looking everywhere... even asked TWO Honda dealers here in Puerto Rico to check if they could import them (not many Honda dealers on a 100*35 mile island).
A 5 lug conversion? Don't think so, but thanks.
Trade in for an RSX? DO NOT think so. My budget was tight getting me the VP, I don't think I'll ever get to the RSX.
Note: Although I DO trust in the RSX's safety (which I don't think is much different from the Civic's). My best friend just recently crashed his (Saturday at 2am). Crashed against a light pole just hard enough to make it fall to the road and make his car flip... yeah, flip. Yes, the roof. Exactly. Yes, ouch. But he's Ok, not one scratch (other than the one the seat belt pressure made when he was upside down on the road...).
