all 4 door owners....

what size wheel are you on?
i'm looking to buy a set of wheels soon, and thought i had made up my mind on a set of 17s, but i'm starting to think i might want to go bigger. maybe 18s. i looked through the picture post of wheels and thats what got me thinking, but i'm looking for other's personal preference. i'm scared that if i get a 17 with a big lip, it might look smaller.
what size are you on and how do you like it?
thank in advance.

Seriously i wont get anything larger than 17's......actually even 17's look too big and thats why i got 16's. Performance is soo much better than 17's. Brakes and accelerates a lot better!!

I have 17's and I'm very pleased with them. 18's can scrape the wheel wells, I've heard, if you turn too far... and I just don't like that. 17's are great for me. Also cheaper, and that's always good

I just put my civic back factory with a set of 04 ex alloys. I liked the way my 17s looked but hated how it performed. I am very happy to be rolling stock. Bones up you gas mileage too.

i got 15 inch si rims from the 2000 civic. Great performance altho I really want some forged rims sometime. I would not go bigger than 15 unless you don't care about mileage, speedo problems, and acceleration.

I have 16's because some of the roads here are terrible. 17's might look better, but they just aren't practical for me.

That's the ticket!!!

You get a better ride, better looking, less gas, less chance of anyone steeling it (since it's got stock wheels) and better on your trans, gas and most of all your pocket.
It bugs me to see these kids with big *** rims and a turbo kit on their car (LOL) it defeats the purpose, if you want to go fast why would you put 19" rims in a car that originally comes with 14" or 15", for automatic cars, well the trans is going to go, and you are going to be replacing your brakes far more often.

So get a set of nice stock wheels, some 205/50/15 all around and if you want to get jazzy polish the wheels SI or 04-05 OEM stocks look lovely polished.
If you want to be on DUB Magazine get a ****ing truck!!!!

get them polished, powder coating gets a little rough after pebbles and stuff start to hit the wheels.

I am telling polishing them to that machine finish is the ****!!

I on the other hand am buying some 15 inch si rims from the same 2000 civic's tommorow I'll be picking them up my only concern is that they seem to be eye catchers and people seem to like making them dissapear off of cars so that is my one and only concern.

LOL i just realized i posted on this thread and i have a 2 door but its basically the same big rims look great ride like crap little rims can look good but ride 100 times better then big rims. I want a set of 18's or maybe even 19's to squeeze onto my vic but they would be showcar rims that would only go on at or right b4 a car show and come off right after i dont need to drive around daily with 19's on my car thats my plan one day ill shave the fender in order to make 19's fit lol im the crazy guy that'll do anything . but seriously if your a daily driver dont go too crazy bigger isnt always better

18" Konig Unknowns with 215/40 BFGoodrich G-Forces and Neuspeed Race springs and stock shocks (pics below are from when my car was stripped while i was 'glassing in the new system... it's now tucking the rim in the back and sits almost an inch lower in the front)... looks great, but rides like $hit... plus i have some ridiculous negative camber in the rear, but i can't adjust the camber kit any further without rolling my fenders... starting to get to be too much trouble, so i'll probably be selling the rim/tire package and going for some of the 04-05 alloys like everyone else
