Need new rotors, any suggestions?
I am in desperate need of new rotors, and while I'm at it, I might as well replace the pads. Someone with a big brake kit, give me your opinion on them. Any noticeable in a shorter stopping distance? Is it worth the money to buy new rotors, pads, calipers, etc. or should I just replace the rotors and the pads with stock parts? I do have 17"s and I think it'd be cool to have big rotors but I'm not sure if it's worth the money

If you want shorter stoping distances then get better (Read Stickyer) tires.
other wise, Just pick up a set of brembo Blanks (They have better internal venting then OEM rotors) and then pick a Pad thats right for what you are doing with the car...
so, what are you doing with the car?? Street driving? autocross? open track???
note: Big brake kits only allow you to run the brakes Harder Longer, due to their greater thermal capacity. SO if you arnt running in to heat problems, then they are a waste of $$$. and they slow you down too.... But not in the good way, as in they reduce your acceleration.

Brembo Blanks at $29 a pop are by far the best (and simplest) option. If I can beat the **** out of them on the track, and they still come back unwarped and crack free, they're good enough... and you don't need to waste anymore money on rotors with slots, holes or larger diameters.
listen to their advice...for daily driving (spirited) pads such as AEM, hawk hps, Axxis metalmaster and ultimates will do the job more than enough...if you want at track pads hawk hp+ (first choice) and axxis ultimates(close second) since our cars are not so heavy...
