Exclamation weird noise?

hey everybody, i just got my 04 civic less than 2 months ago, and haven't had any problems with it yet. but tonight as im pulling into my driveway i heard one of the loudest sreetching noises that i've ever heard, so much that i was afraid i was gonna wake up my neighbors

i checked my tires and everything seems fine, would it be the brakes though, i dont even think i was pressing on them? either way im pretty pissed, whatever it was, new cars aren't supposed to be making that type of noise

hopefully tomorrow morning it doesnt make that noise, i would try to see whats wrong with it tonight but like i said i dont wanna wake up my neighbors, anybody have any clue what it could be?

Well it depends, did the noise happen when you hit the brakes? Or did it happen when you went into the driveway?

If you didn't hit the brakes, the brakes didn't make the noise. They don't do anything unless you hit them. You probably drug something on the underbelly along the driveway lip. Most likely the exhaust. Go underneath, look for scuffs, scratches and drag marks.

today i started it up and went to work and everything, it was fine until i was making a left onto this one road, all of a sudden the same noise happened again, only this time it happened for about 10 seconds, sounded like robots were having crazy squeeky sex

i checked everything, and i know for a fact i wasn't hitting the brakes or dragging anything when the noise happened again, e-brake was down too, wtf can it be?? i do have 17x7 konig troubles on it with toyo tires, they dont rub at all though

i even checked my power steering fluid, everything is fine, im really stumped on this one

whoa never heard of anything like that happening..
so when you were turning were you touching the brake at all.. cause i know when i get a car wash and after i leave i get squeeking sounds when i break for a while..

Also your car is brand spanking new so you shouldn't have problems... because your brakes are good..

did you lower your car.. cause i know with aftermarket coilovers etc you have to cut the dust boot.. or you get a loud high pitch squeeking sound...

if you only have tire/rim mods.. i would take it back to honda .. maybe to keep it on the safe side.. put the factory tires back on.. dealers always blame aftermarket **** on problems etc..

good luck man
