It is up to you if you want that. getting bigger rims and tires doesnt mean you need better brakes. It is all about preference. Do you feel the need for better brakes? Is your stock brakes not cutting it? All up to you.

I stayed stock when I went to 17s.....I don't feel a need to go bigger rotors, heat isn't a problem. I will likely do the rear conversion....the stock rotors do look a little lost in there though.

you dont need it and its prolly a stock 04 so at this point unless your going for looks the brake kit isnt gonna be the best way to spend the cash. Unless you have the HP to use a big brake kit to its full potential.

hm.. would it be a good investment to get a big brake kit if ur pretty hard on ur brakes already. not that i have anything in the hod of my STOCK civic, but i drive a little fast. n brakes wear out much. would getting a big brake kit be better, n last longer since i drive pretty harsh?

This has been covered MANY times....

To paraphrase....

THe only reason you would need a Big brake kit is if you are over heating the current braking system(and even then, only after you've tried other ways to alleviate the heat problem). If you like the look then you like the look, but dont expect them to slow you down any quicker....

A 4 piston calliper would be better, just putting better pads will not make a difference.

actually the pads will make more of a difference the the calipers...

4 piston calipers just even out the preasure on the pad and give better pedal feel....
