Question Rim offset and alignment ???

Do you have to compensate for a different rim offset than that of an oem rim when you get a wheel alignment? Or, is a wheel alignment the same regardless of different rim offsets?

when you say a different offset how much different? If the center of the tire still contacts the road at the approx same place as before and the width is approx the same width as stock then you shouldnt need to offset the alignment at all. Its typically not an issue unless you are running RWD wheels on a FWD car where the wheel sticks out WAY too much beyond the fender. Or on 4-wheel drive trucks where your running a tire thats much taller then stock or much wider.
