Which new pads to Get

I've already searched and read over 30 threads regarding brake pads.

I use to have EBC GrenStuff pads but they made a squeeking noise when I braked so after they wore out I got AEM Nissin Pads. It feels that the AEM have better braking power. They also make no noise when I brake.

The question I have is:
Which pads should I get next(price shipped by calling www.importrp.com):
  1. Hawk HPS ($63.61)
  2. AEM Nissin ($57.61)
  3. Axxis Ultimates ($55.61)
I am going to change my brake pads very soon.

I only care about breaking performance. Also, My brakes will never get to 1000'F so I'm only looking for initial bitting power. I'm not looking for a pad that will perform better on the track then other pads. I dont want to have to heat up my pads so they perform well.

I dont think anyone has tried all of them so if you have tried more then one, post which ones you've tried and which performance wise is better.
I dont care about brake dust. I'll clean my tires every day if I have to so I can get an awesome performing brake pad.

I already have brembo blank rotors and will be getting new tires soon. Most likely will be getting $78 BFGoodrich Traction T/A V 215/55/15 mounted on stock steel 15x6 EX wheels.

Thanks,
Oren

Just get the stock pads. They'll last longer. But if you must go aftermarket, the AEMs are close to what you're looking for.

AEM. I have AEM on my 2001 and it stops better than the Axxis Metal Masters on my 90 hatch.

I dont care about how long they last. I want a good performaing pad. I dont care about long lasting pads or brake dust(I saw Boilermaker1's thread on brake dust and dont care about brake dust).
I just dont want the tire to queel (like it did with the EBC Green Stuff Pads).

The stock pads are no comparison to the AEM nissin pads I have now. I would rather stay with the AEM Nissin pads then go back to stock. Just looking for other alternatives that might be better then the AEM Nissin.

Thanks,
Oren

Everyone seems to have sqeeking noises with ebc, I dont. I only have the problem of the vibration. Try hawk HPS, I am about to put them on my car.

I bought the axxis ultimate. i have heard nothing but incredible braking power. So powerful that it may lock the wheels for a split second. Boiler knows a lot about them.

Try this link

You'll see that 215/55 will fit on a rim with a width of 6" - 7.5 ".

Also, this size tire will only throw your tachometer off by .64%.
So at 100mph you'll be traveling 99.36 mph.

I just installed the Hawk HPS pads a few weeks ago and I have no complaints. Great stopping power and low low brake dust.

Yea I just checked the tire calc and was suprised that 215/55 is closer to stock than 205/55. I havent heard or seen ayone use that on stock wheels. How would it look? Wouldnt it bulge out?

Yea, I think it would bulge out.
Tirerack says it will fit but I have a feeling that it will bulge out. I searched through member rides and couldnt find any that run 215 on a 6" wide tire. I saw some that run it on 6.5" though.

Yeah. I hate my EBCs. I'm definately looking to get something that grabs, but doesn't give me hell with vibrations and brake dust.

I've been hearing real good things about the Hawk HPS and AEM/Nissin. I'm having a hard time of deciding on which way to go.
