215/45/17 highway ride quality on stock suspension

I am looking into getting a rim/tire package in 215/45/17 for my 2004 LX coupe.
I drive mostly highway daily and was wondering if the ride quailty will be too harsh with the stock factory suspension on the car. The 17" setup will give me roughly the same tire diameter as the stock 15", but was curious if there are any other downsides to getting the 17"
such as less mpg, etc.

Thanks

Didn't bother my *** one bit. Might have been a little rougher, but nothing that bugged me. Car accelerates a little slower, but the MPG stayed about the same.

its all about the tires you have and whether they make noise or not at high speeds. ride quality is good tho.

I have 205/45/17 with Falken Ziex 512 and I drive on the highway almost every day, I noticed a slight difference from stock but nothing major. Road noise was less than stock but it wasn't as soft a ride (I had the 14" stock) But again, It wasn't that noticeable, it is still comfortable. My acceleration actually went up from stock, as my 17" are only 16lbs a rim.
