who told you, that you needed an impact driver????

its quite simple,

1. Dissconnect the caliper form the Hub. 2 bolts on the back. I used a simple Box wrench
2. there should be 2 phillips head screws on the rotor (kinda holding the rotor to the HUB. Unscrew them. If they are too tight, Place the screwdriver in the screw and hit the back of the screw driver with a hammer (This helps loosen the screw) Remove. IF they are not there dont worry they dont reall do any thing but hold the rotor in place while you change pads. )
3. once the screws are out the rotor should just come off. Simple

Ok, sounds easy enough, How do you replace the brake fluid?? Is there a drain plug or something. also, Have you ever replaced the boot around the caliper piston?

EX, LX DX...... the brakes on all are the same. Mine is an EX BTW.

Brake fluid... you may want to have a shop do that.

to flush fluid you need a shop to do it? I think it would be easier to do a brake flush, then change a rotor.

I thought you basically just have to crack open the 10mm bolt and brake fluid should come out. Put new fluid in, and pump the brake a couple of times to get the fluid throught the brake lines, and close the bolts up.

I'm pretty sure that's all you have to do.

I am still curious on this, when I look at my brakes, there are no screws of which you are talking about, I mean the 2 screws that you remove, so would all I need to do is remove the caliper and then take a rubber mallat and hit the back of the rotor untill I can take it off. On my new brembo rotors though, there is a place for the 2 screws.

there should be 2 screws in there. Did someone work on your brakes before? If so, they probably didn't put back those screws.

I have looked at the brakes, there are the 4 wheel studs and that is it. The DIY shows the 4 wheel studs and 2 screws between them, mine dont have it. There is no place for screws. that is why this is confusing.
