question about rotor install, problem occured

Ok, in the DIY, it says to unscrew the two screws that hold the rotor on, well when I took off my tires tonight, and looked at the rotor and the hub, there are the 4 wheel studs, but there are no 2 screws to remove around the wheel studs. what do I do. Do I need to remove the hub and then the rotor, please help me?

I have never done brake on an ex yet. But if there are no screws holding the rotors on you can take a hammer to the back of the rotor to try to knock it off. Only do this if you are junking the rotor though. You can also try a rubber mallet (sp?) Some rotors put on at the factory are heated before being placed on the hub, so the only way to get them off is to cut down through them or get them red hot and try to knock them off with a hammer. Get back if you have any questions still.

You can use a hammer, or find some bolts that fit in the open holes on the rotor. What you do is put the bolts in, and turn each one of them in even increments until the rotor comes off. Thats what the extra holes are for. But this is after you get the phillip head screws out.

No no no no no. You need what's called an "Impact driver set"... usually it comes w/ bits.. in this case you'll need a #3. What you do is you tap it w/ a hammer and it turns those bolts w/ precision. Anything else, you have a good chance of F'ing it up. I got my set for $9.99 @ pep boys.

I am still stumped. I am either going to let a shop do it, or a friend at work who just graduated from UTI. I am afraid I will mess something up. The DIY makes it sound easy, but there is so much more than what is on there, and the other stuff not listed is the hard ****.

I am still stumped on how to change the pads on the caliper. I wish someone could go more into detail with it. I dont want to risk any damage, but I dont want to pay alot of money to have it done.
