There's metal and plastic ones. If you've got plastic ones, you'll probably find yourself looking for metal ones down the road.

The wheel heats up and cools down, the ring expands and contracts... then cracks. Plastic rings don't last very long. If you can take them back, do so. Then CALL (they're not on the website) discount tire direct and buy yourself a set of anodized aluminum ones for $8.

They have no effect at all once the lugnuts are torqued down, and all the pieces will stay together since there's no where for them to fall out, but you'll take the wheel off sometime and find that you're gonna have a fun time getting the wheel back on and centered. And its 8 for a set of 4

You need the centerbore of the wheel. I'd measure it, because Rota is retarded and unlike most companies, the centerbore varies by wheel. Shitstreams are 67.1mm, others are 73, others are something else. Check em first. The car's hub diameter is 56.15mm... thats what you need the ID of the ring to be.
