Tire warranty issue

Ok, do are factory tires come with any type of treadwear warrany? I was readling in the little book that came with my car and it said something like 6 yrs. The reason why I ask is because I need new tires and I am really short on money, and my car has only 56,000 miles on it and I was going to see if the dealer would replace my tires for free if it is under a treadwear warranty. The only thing I am concerned about is that I have my car dropped with eibach sportlines. But I really need new tires. Someone please let me know. Also I know everyone doesnt like the firestone tires, but I have never had a problem with them.

I don't think you can get a full refund just because your tires did not last the entire mileage rating. If that was their policy, they would be refunding everybody who drives hard and never makes it to their tires lifetime mileage rating.

The only kind of warranty most tires have are for obvious manufacturing defects only... and even then, they will only refund the percentage of tread left on the tire... meaning that if your tires cost $100 and you have 50% tread left, they will refund you $50 ( 50% of your $100) if you have an obvious defect.

There will be no warranty on your tires because the dealer would blame it on your camber wear due to the lowering of your car.
