driving in snow

how bad is it to drive in snow with tires that give 0 snow traction?

Not a wise idea. The compound is designed for warm weather, it will harden in cold, and the directional tread will clog in no time... basically making the tire a snow slick.

With Zero snow traction as you claim, you wouldn't be driving anyway, you'd be standing still spinning your wheels.

not good at all......i have supposedly good snow tires, and in a good amount of snow, i still slide all over the place. i recommend not driving the car at all when possible and get rides from other people.

performance tires generally are dry surface performance... not snow performance... get blizzaks or a decent all season tire

i have kuhmo 711 and i slide all day. they are totally unsafe in the snow. sad to say, the stock firestones are even safer.
