Wheel width
How do you know what tire will fit on what width?
Like, if you have tires that are 185/65R15 (stock size) would they fit on 15x6 (stock) or also on a wheel if you went to 15x6.5?
Thanks.

each tire mfg will recomend different wheel widths for their tires, check with them for their reccomendations.
for racing...... I've seen people shoehorn 225's on to a 6" wheel and slap a 205 on 8s

Thanks guys. I found a list of what Falken ZE 512's fit on what rim.
I'd post a link but it's a javascript window and there's no address bar on it. But I found that they'll fit on a rim that is 5.0-6.5 inches wide so I am good. And they weigh 18.4lbs.
