lost wheel lock key and need to take off wheel

Exclamation lost wheel lock key and need to take off wheel

i went to go take my wheel off today to let a friend put it on his car to see how it looked b4 he bought it and my wheel lock key is gone and i dont have that little registration card thingy that mcgard gives you!! anyone know what i can do???

.... when you buy it new, did you send back the registration card or not?? if you did, just call them and ask them to search your name, address or anything they might be able to find it for you and you have to buy a new key .......... but i dunno, i never call them for the lost key *knock on wood* hopefully i'm not gonna lose my key

darn ........... since you mention it, i have to find my Key Serial Number card ............. i forgot where i put it ......... i need to find it tonight and put it in my safe

well the wheel locks came with my car, when i bought it brand new from honda... could mcgard possibly look up my vin or something ??? i never sent in the card and now im fu*ked

They're honda locks? Go to the dealer... they should be able to figure it out by VIN or something. There's only a finite number of keys... so they should be able to figure it out.

No, I think he's right ... that may be a last resort if you can't get a replacement key. How do you think car thieves jack rims off cars with wheel locks? Locks are just a deterrent, nothing else.
