can it be the camber that....
OK, here I am thinking that since I went w/ the Eibach ProKit on my car that it will not cause a camber problem on my wheels (as a matter of fact the ProKit claims this). Well I was putting my wheels on my car last night and the uneven wear is TERRIBLE! I just got the wheels and tires last March and I really don't want to have to get another set so soon- Oh also I am not a crazy autocross type driver.
What does everyone think, new tires AND camber kit or just new tires? Also what is good kit they make if I do need one?
AHHHHHH!

I used to have the pro-kit and it wore my tires pretty bad on the insides too... Now i Have the Tein SS and got the SPC front and rear camber kits. I'm gunna have to get new tires soon, but for now its better than it was before.

i dont think there is anything wrong with your camber, since you have the prokit. the problem is that you have kumhos. sure they're cheap, but they have a crappy tread life. if you end up buying new tires, buy one with a high tread rating. the yokohama avid h4 is a good tire with a good tread rating.
Is your tire wear only on the inside, like negative camber on a lowered car? or is it on the outside, like you have had your tires out of balance and they have worn down only in certain places around the edges?
If you have not done so, find a GOOD tire shop with one of those laser 4-wheel alignment machines like a Hunter 511 or 811 . Get your tires re-balanced, have them rotated (if you didn't do that when you put them back on the other night
) and get a 4-wheel alignment.
Since you are paying $$ for this, tell them you either want a printout of the finished alignment specs or you want the alignment technician to show you the numbers on the machine. (I did this and a reputable shop has no problem with this).
If they can get the camber from -.800 degree to 0 degree then you don't need a camber kit
(I can't remember exactly what the factory spec is---I think somewhere around negative 3/4 degree is acceptable--the shop will have the actual number loaded into the alignment machine)
If it is any more than -1 degrees then you will show some wear over time--you need to think about getting the camber kit.
SPC (Specialty Products Corp) is recognized as one of the very best camber kits
Ingalls is usually mentioned as the only other brand to have (I have it on my car)

What do your tires look like? I.e. what type of wear are you seeing, rub your hands on the worn part also, tell me if they are cupped or sharp edges.
If cupped-too much toe in. Inside, toe in; outisde, toe out.
Evenly worn smooth on inside edge. Too much negative camber. Get a kit.

My tires are wearing out on the inside, kind of choppy for lack of a better word.
I hope that I can get the rest of the year out of them then I am going to get Yokahamas I think, my boyfriend has them on his Accord and never has had a problem.
I think that I am going to have to get the tires then check em out regularly to make sure they aren't wearing wierd.
Thanks guys!
