Hello everyone,
First post here! I hope I can be helpful in this forum!
I have a very serious issue in the 11th gen Civic. The rearview mirror box (The one holding the mirror itself) is rattling very bad. First it was only on non-asphalt but now whenever I accelerate, it rattles. I have attached the sound in a dropbox link, and I hope there is a solution for it.

Edit: When I firmly push the box toward the windshield, the rattle reduces drastically.
Thanks in advance

Assuming you posted this in the right section, it will still be under warranty.
I was looking for a more DIY solutions, since getting my car to the official rep is not easy.

Then try removing the cover. That will tell you if it is causing the rattling noise or if it's something underneath.

Try removing the cover. Shouldn't be terribly difficult to figure out.Originally Posted by phani2030

You'd have as much luck looking as I would.Originally Posted by phani2030

This entire forum seems pretty dead but figured I'd join to leave an answer since nobody wants to type out a freaking response other than Google it. Defeats the purpose of a forum...but hey, I guess that's why this place is so dead. I hope it helps someone out there and if not, at least I tried.
I believe this will help:
Or you can search YT with the video title "Dash Camera for 2022 Honda Civic from FitcamX" They do a decent disassembly to install the dash cam.
