Hello!
I am new to the forum, I am from Greece.
I recently bought a used car.
model: HONDA CIVIC 1.3cc 2008 hybrid
with 195.000 kilometers.

While the owner of the hybrid battery runs out (I think) relatively late, the gas consumption is very high.

Specifically, on a highway and on a very good road, I traveled 440 kilometers and burned 33 liters of gasoline, which means that it burned about 7.5 liters per 100 kilometers ((this is how it is measured in Greece)).

While at the same time the actual consumption in the tank is between 8 to 12 liters per 100 kilometers.

I think the consumption is very high, especially for a hybrid vehicle!

Let me emphasize that the charger is working normally and the battery is charging (downhill or on the brake) and in the process it shows that it uses the hybrid battery

What do you think is the problem and I have this consumption?

How do you drive it? AKA stay out of assist. Bad IMA is my guess maybe grid charge and discharge. Yes always do maintenance like CVT fluid and filters is usually forgotten.
I have a 08 Civic Hybrid with 3 yr old IMA.
