RSX steering wheel with AP1 airbag

So I recently got a RSX steering wheel and bought a EP3 (USDM) and realized that the EP3 has a dual stage airbag not a single. So I thought about putting a AP1 single stage airbag on the RSX wheel I already have but upon thinking about it, I realized that the ground is not there if I do that (for the horn). For a normal RSX the ground is on the airbag. But on an s2k, the ground is on the steering wheel. So if I use both there would be on place to put the ground. Is there any way to bypass this?

Re: RSX steering wheel with AP1 airbag

We cant help you with this, for safety reasons please run OEM.

Dual bags have two different charge loads, that fire in a certain order and time.

......

That being said, I'm running a 8th gen wheel in a 7th gen, but that's dual, to dual (still a risk though since order and timing are probably different, since the bag connections do not clip directly together, between generations).

Good luck though
