Hi,
I just joined this forum hoping someone here can help me. I have a Honda Civic Type S 2011 and the heater fan stopped working over a week ago the heater control switch works and you can turn it higher or lower but won't work at any speed, and here in the UK the weather was very cold at the time. I took the vehicle too my mechanic (John) who me and the family have been using for a very long time and his good but not excellent with electrical work so when he checked he said something like there's no power going to the blower motor, he checked all the fuses and said they were fine and then he ordered a new resistor and blower motor. even though the parts were replaced the heaters still don't work. John now thinks there maybe a issue with the wiring or a relay and has tried checking online for wiring diagrams but has had no luck so i really need someones expert help from here please as my car is currently stuck in the garage and need it back as soon as possible.

Find a better mechanic. They should have access to appropriate wiring diagrams.

There will be at least one fuse and a relay that would prevent power from reaching the fan.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Only issue i have is the nearest electrician isn't willing to take the vehicle in for another 3-4 weeks and he will be closed during the Christmas period this is why i myself am trying to get information to see if i can get my vehicle repaired and back soon as its already been in the garage for a week.
