2007 Honda Civic ex AC Air intermittently working
First off I would like to say that I have tried every other thread about this issue and most of them have a different problem and didn’t help me much.
Firstly I never had this problem with the heat it always blew but summer is creeping by and my car has been doing this for over a year since I bought it
i have a new compressor condenser and drier when I replaced the compressor
System is fully charged and blows ice cold(when it works)
so basically I start my car in the morning everything good 20-60 minutes after continuous driving the air starts to get weak to the point where it’s not doing nothing.
when this happened I checked my blower is blowing fine I did the hvac test no lights flashed I also replaced the control unit no luck. In long drives the air comes and goes by it’s self also when I mess with the direction to feet to windshield back to front it works also when I put it on max speed it sometimes blows again. I don’t think the blower is a issue unless it’s diseased because I always hear it spinning regardless. Only thing I can think is maybe the doors that allow the air to go to the top vents gets stuck sometimes? I’m not sure how to see or diagnose that but only weird thing I hear is when I change the temperatures while the air is running I hear a weird noise other than that no noises when the ac is running. Honestly it’s so random hard for me to diagnose anybody had experience with these 8th gen civics that can help me out appreciated.

Re: 2007 Honda Civic ex AC Air intermittently working
Have you tried checking the bullet connector which is hidden inside a shrink sleeve right in the front under the hood? We had the same exact problem happening, and the issue was that the bullet connector would make the connection and then disengage, make it again, then disengage. We took it to multiple shops, and no one could figure out what was wrong. We finally took it to one guy who figured he would trace the wiring, and he found the loose connector. He cut the connector out and hardwired the wires together, and it solved the problem.
