A/C Comp clutch not engaging. Full system replace need sensor voltages
Hi I have a 2010 Honda Civic LX and I have just replaced the compressor since it had been locking up. The condenser and airdryer have been replaced, high pressure switch has been replaced and also the expansion valve has been replaced. I have tested voltage at the fuse and relay and everything is good now I am not getting ecm signal to engage the clutch relay. I have checked the voltage at the high pressure switch and it shows 5 volts supply. Need to know the voltage of the signal wire and also the evaporator temperature sensor will this cause the clutch not to engage and if so what do the voltages need to be? I also have charged it twice. Shows 50-80 lowside pressure and around 100 high pressure static pressure. I have a power probe and relay engages clutch when sending a ground signal to relay at ecm prong. High pressure switch shows a good 5volt supply but only 1.2volt signal. Is high pressure switch able to jump 5v signal from supply to test switch? If this is good then what else would cause my ac not to kick on? Whole system has been gone through? I'm using manual guages and weighed the refrigerant to ensure correct amount.
Thanks, honda fan
