Hello Everyone,

I'm having some issues with my A/C. I've been having a battery issue that I have known about, but today while driving to work my car started to cut off on me. It would cut off every time I would brake. This was not like it normally does when you release the brake and it starts back up. This time when the brake was release it stayed off. Once that stop I noticed my a/c would not get cold anymore; it would blow just only hot air. I popped the hood to take a look and saw that the compressor was not engaging. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to go about solving the issue. Some of the warning lights I get are the check engine, IMA, and dead battery light which I know has to do with the bad battery.

Might be normal if the battery is bad. Get that fixed first.

So, I finally fix the battery issue I was having, but the A/c still is not working. Wondering if there is anything I can try to resolve this issue.

Compressor clutch air gap? Relay? Freon loss? Many possibilities.
