Hi, this is my first post, I purchased a 2004 Civic LX with auto trans. It has 74k original miles which I verified. It shifts fine but I am wondering about changing the trans. fluid. The owners manual recommends 120k or 6yrs. I didn't receive any maint. records so I don't know the history. The fluid appears to be very clean. Also I drive less than 3k mi. per year. I'm just wondering if I should just go ahead and change the fluid (not flush) or leave well enough alone? Thanks for your advice, G

It wouldn't hurt to change but if it looks clean, I would probably leave it until you put some more miles on it.

Do a timing belt too if you can’t find documentation for it.
